For 2009, we will host a dance for adult singles every Sunday evening from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Aviator Room at the Hotel Gold Crown at Centennial Airport.
The first dance will be this Sunday night, part of the Martin Luther King three-day holiday.
The parties are called Boomer Socials to describe our 50+ age group and the music we play.
Dance Music Mix
Music played for dancing will be from the 1960's to 1980's, rock & roll, country, line dances, a little disco plus a lot of romantic slow songs.(No rap, hip-hop or polkas.)
The Hotel Gold Crown is giving us the Aviator room every Sunday night for our private party. The permanent oak dance floor is larger than those at most nightclubs in the Southeast Metro area.
Cost: $10.
Location:
The Hotel Gold Crown is located at Centennial Airport. Take Arapahoe Road to South Peoria. Go south and follow Peoria to the right toward the airport control tower. The hotel is adjacent to the tall control tower with the searchlight on top.
Ample free, lighted parking is available in front of and on the sides of the hotel. The Aviator Room is pictured behind the flag poles in this photo. Enter through the main doors into the lobby.
