CSN sponsors a variety of activities throughout the year: entertainment functions, outdoor recreation and special events. These events, numbering at least four a month, for CSN members, with some activities open to non-members. They are a great way of meeting people in a friendly, non-threatening atmosphere. CSN hosts dances the 3rd Saturday each month, complete with dance lessons, as well as various parties. Our "Touch of Class" theme parties are popular and range from mocktail parties to murder mysteries. In a more informal setting we have dinners, BBQs, game nights, picnics, hiking, biking, skiing, camping, volleyball, cruises, and our annual June camping/rafting trip, which attracts up to 100 area singles. CSN has 500 member, all members are single. Ages range from 18-80, the largest age groups are 35-49 and 50+. Within CSN there are special interest groups for single parent families, 20s & 30s year-olds, 30s & 40s year olds, and the 50+ age group, and workshops on singles issues. The single parent group is called Solo Parenting SP, the 20s-30s group is Active Christian Singles ACTS, the 30-40s group is Christian Friendship Connection CFC, and the 50+ group is Fun After Fifty FAF. Membership Requirements: Members must agree to a Statement of Faith, which includes believing the Bible is the only infallible Word of God, that eternal life is only obtained through faith in Jesus Christ and believing in upholding biblical standards of moral conduct.
