CFCZ - Colorado Friends of Cajun and Zydeco Music
CFCZ was formed almost ten years ago to promote interest in Cajun and
Zydeco music on Colorado's Front Range. Each year we have hosted numerous
bands from Louisiana as well as monthly dances at the Mercury Cafe
on the fourth Sunday of each month in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
In the Summer we usually host two or three excellent Cajun and Zydeco
bands at larger local venues such as the D Note in Arvada or Redfish
in Boulder. Both Cajun and Zydeco dancing are easy, fun and social and
have a unique history and connection to the culture of SW Louisiana.
