The annual Boomer Social Adult Singles Picnic and Dance on the Sunday of Memorial Weekend has moved from Foothills Golf Course in Lakewood to Glendale's Creekside Park along Cherry Creek near the Glendale Bridge.

Lots of fun for everyone:
Two (2) sand volleyball courts.
Nice grass areas for kickball & frisbee.
Old-time rock & roll music played for dancing.

Three grills with hot dogs and hamburgers plus chips, tropical fruit bowl, cookies and soft drinks included in $15 admission.

You can bring beer, wine, etc. A new King Soopers Liquor store is open 300 yards away. More details and park photos coming.

Directions:

From the South:
From I-25 travel north on Colorado Boulevard to East Virginia Ave. (Sheraton Hotel on SE corner of intersection, Shot Gun Willy's on N.E. Corner of intersection, and Holiday Inn Select on N.W. Corner of intersection) Turn east (Right) on East Virginia Ave. and travel to South Clermont Street turn South (Right) and park along street in marked parking spaces. Creekside Park is on the West side of street (Right).

From the North:
From I-70 travel south on Colorado Boulevard to East Virginia Ave. (Sheraton Hotel on S.E. corner of intersection, Shot Gun Willy's on N.E. Corner of intersection, and Holiday Inn Select on N.W. Corner of intersection) Turn East (Left) onto East Virginia Ave, Turn south (Right) on Clermont Street. Creekside Park is on west side of street (Right). Park in street side parking lot.
