January 15 - Stampede
St. Francis Cabrini Stock Show night at the Stampede, 2430 South Havana, don’t forget the free fajitas and think you need to go home and eat, come on and put on those boots and dust off your hat a get some two-steppin’ in.

January 15 - Denver Ballroom Dance
Denver Ballroom Dance at the Kicker’ Club, 16776 West 50th Avenue in Golden, $10 at the door or maybe you bought one of the discount cards for six dances at $50, doors open at 6:30pm and lesson starts at 7 and what a great warmup for the Cabrini dance tomorrow, shake that dust off your boogie shoes

January 16 - St. Francis Cabrini Singles Dance
Dancing Under The Stars at St. Francis Cabrini, 6673 W. Chatfield (Pierce & Chatfield on the NE corner), $15 includes pizza, beer, wine and soda (ice water is still free), 7-11pm, Come on you know you want to go, call me and let’s get a carpool going!!!!!!!!!

January 21 - Singles in Spirit Meeting
SIS Business Meeting and election of officers, Call Donna at 303-749-8380 to RSVP for attendance, if you want some say in where SIS goes in the upcoming year (and there are some major issues to discuss) come on down, I would hate to see SIS succumb to apathy and just fall apart for lack of anyone caring to shoulder a little of the burden, I hope not all of you are takers and will show up

January 22 - Singles in Spirit Supper Meeting
SIS Supper Meeting at the Chit Chat Bistro located at 12500 W. 58th Ave just past Ward Road, 6:30pm and the menu is excellent and under $10 for some wonderful cooking and truly excellent service, please RSVP me at 303-517-4629 or denleyk@aol.com and I am hoping to see all of you so we can finalize the new regime!!!!!!!!!!!!!

January 23 - Snowshoe
It’s a good day for snowshoes, don’t have some? I can round up a few extra sets so don’t let that stop you and if you are wanting to learn, there will be a brief safety class at the start on avalanche safety, call Denley at 303-517-4629 for details and to reserve your shoes and yes those ones at Sam’s Club are an excellent starter for the sport, especially call me if you want to come and you have an extra set or two for the beginners

January 23 - Pizza & Concert
How about a little culture for those who aren’t up to a mountain trek? Meet at Romano’s Pizzeria at 5666 Windemere for some lunch and stroll up Main Street to the Bemis Library for a free concert of harp and flute at two in the afternoon, maybe you will have such a good time you will feel the need to have some tea with your friends? I sure will if I can make it back down off the mountain in time, call Marlene at 303-795-2006

Proof Night!!, 7800 East Hampden Avenue across from the theatre at Tamarac, Darn good buffet for only $3 and the drinks are two for one during Happy Hour, Come On Down And Shake That Thing and let’s all tell Lory Happy Birthday and thank her for all the events she puts on since this calendar would not be as much fun without her efforts
