Membership Up the Creek members enjoy virtually every type of outdoor sports including snow skiing, hiking, mountain biking, skating, softball, volleyball, water sports, and much, much more. Up the Creek is a year round athletic and social organization with 300+ members throughout the metropolitan area. This organization is not exclusively singles, 80% of the members are singles and 20% are couples. Most of the members are in the 30-55 age range. The club organizes several major out-of-town trips annually; to ski resorts in the wintertime, to mountain or water resorts in the summer. There are also a number of single-day sports and social events in the metro area or nearby mountains every month, ranging from mountain bike rides to theater outings to gambling trips to music festivals to back country ski tours to a Super Bowl party and much more. Plus, Up The Creek has a recreational ski racing team in the most extensive Teamski programs in Denver. Spring/Summer activities include the Picnics, mountain bike trips, water-skiing trips, rafting, hiking, golf outings, volleyball, and softball. Fall/Winter activities include progressive dinners, golf, Halloween Party, Superbowl party, day ski trips, weekend ski trips, snowshoeing, cross country ski tours and Team Ski racing. Happy Hours are scheduled throughout the year.
Individual members will often host additional activities such as hikes, day ski trips, volleyball etc., members are notified of these events via E-mail. Ever want to get a group together for a day ski trip on short notice? As a member you can just post an email message to the group. Membership fees are only $55 a year ($85 for couples), which includes discounts on club trips and activities, 4 Big Free Parties each year and the cost of a newsletter. Free 2-Month Membership! Please attend at least 3 events during the trial membership period to give the Up the Creek Ski & Rec Club a fair try. The trial membership does not include free admittance to their 4 big annual parties. The nonmember cost to the parties is $20, which can be applied to a full year membership. Free 2-Month
